    Job Summary:

     

    The Director, Corporate Accounts is a strategically vital position reporting to the Senior Director of Corporate Strategic Accounts calling on National IDN’s (Integrated Delivery Networks and other identified target accounts in the (Eastern/Western) United States. The Director will be tasked with positioning SonoSite as the preferred vendor of hand carried ultrasound and growing the revenue base in the U.S. through strategic alliances and contractual relationships with healthcare systems. The individual will develop, initiate and execute business plans solely based on specific targets as defined by the Senior Director of Strategic Accounts. The position may be based from candidate’s home location.s.

     

     

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Responsible for developing and implementing strategies to maximize revenues and volumes sold through the influence of National Integrated Healthcare Networks (IHN) and other targets as defined by the Senior Director of Strategic Accounts. Examples include Ascension, Community Health Systems, Catholic Health Initiatives, HCA, etc
    • Negotiate and finalize contract agreements whenever appropriate and advantageous, providing measurable results.
    • Plan and implement strategies to drive adoption and endorsement of the SonoSite products by National Integrated Healthcare Networks (IHN)
    • Work with field sales management on strategies and programs to maximize revenue to by National Integrated Healthcare Networks (IHN).
    • Responsible and accountable for carrying out the requirements of the company's quality system.

     

    Knowledge and Experience:

     

    • Business or related degree or equivalent work experience.
    • Minimum 3 years of strategic account experience or a combination of 8 years of strategic and Medical Sales experience. Preferably calling on the largest Integrated Health Systems in the US.
    • Minimum 5 years’ experience in medical capital equipment sales.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
    • Extensive experience negotiating contracts
    • Able to travel 40% of the time
    • Medical device industry experience required.  Ultrasound experience preferred.

     

    Skills and Abilities:

     

    • Ability to work independently.
    • Ability to interface effectively with all levels of the organization.
    • Ability to travel extensively.
    • Ability to lift 25lbs with or without accommodations.
