  • Overview

    The HR Manager is responsible for providing the best in class support to an assigned business unit(s) with responsibilities covering all HR disciplines. This individual will implement talent management strategies aligned with business unit priorities in support of the strategic objectives of the business and HR department. The HR Manager is expected to partner with management to recommend and drive the appropriate people management solutions which support business objectives and the development of the employee.

    General Duties and Responsibilities:


    Proactively partners with business unit managers to optimize employee capabilities and deliver against business objectives and priorities

    Utilize and leverage data to advance business decisions help further advance the organization.

    Gather and analyze data to assess the effectiveness of HR solutions

    Implement and manage key HR initiatives and programs within various business units

    Promotes employee understanding of Human Resources programs, policies and objectives while developing positive employee engagement; interprets policies as it relates to individual employees and company objectives; acts as first point of contact for assigned functional groups

    Responsible for facilitating positive employee relations by assisting employees and managers in resolving work related complaints/issues, counsels management on how to handle situations and ensures effective communication between employee and manager

    Partners with Talent Acquisition and hiring managers to ensure we are identifying the right people with the right skill sets that will help drive our business

    Proactively works with management to strategize and implement key employee retention strategies; advice and counsel on compensation recommendations for internal moves; ensures that performance management process is followed through for all assigned employees

    Adheres to the Company’s quality and regulatory compliance requirements, without exception, and ensures that all job duties inherent in this position description are performed in accordance with established policies and procedures





    Bachelor’s degree in related field, or equivalent work experience

    Five to eight years previous experience as an HR Business Partner

    General knowledge of federal/state employment law, policies and practices of the Human Resources Department

    General knowledge of sales compensation design

    Demonstrated ability to leverage data that drives business decisions

    Solid understanding of HRIS systems, processes and procedures

    Effective at developing and maintaining strong relationships with management, employees and peers; effective conflict resolution skills

    Demonstrates good judgment; approachable and professional; solid problem solving skills; ability to handle multiple tasks; self-motivated

    Ability to work in a fast paced environment

    Superior communication and interpersonal skills; ability to present information and make recommendations effectively

    Strong project management skills

    Proficient computer skills: Google Product Suite, Microsoft Product Suite, ADP

    Physical requirements:


    The position requires the ability to perform the following physical demands and/or have the listed capabilities.


    The ability to sit up 75-100% of applicable work time

    The ability to use your hands and fingers to feel and manipulate items, including keyboards, up to 100% of applicable work time

    The ability to stand, talk, and hear for 75% of applicable work time

    The ability to lift and carry up to ten pounds up to 20% of applicable work time

    Close Vision: The ability to see clearly at twenty inches or less




    Occasional (up to 25%) travel may be required based on business need.
