Position Overview

We are hiring a Life Science Business Unit (LSBU) - Salesforce.com (SFDC) Administrator. The LSBU - SFDC Administrator will work closely with the CRM Manager and internal stakeholders to ensure that the Salesforce platform is capable of the essential functions for the business and enhancing the user experience within the organization.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Manage Salesforce user accounts, profiles, and permissions
  • Perform routine maintenance, data uploads, and database clean-up
  • Generate and maintain views, reports and dashboards for business users
  • Integrates funnel data into sales data to improve forecasting and raw material planning
  • Conduct requirement gathering for new and changes to existing business processes
  • Propose, maintain and test new flows, validation rules and approval processes
  • Implement, monitor and maintain Groups, Chatter, Communities and Partner Portals
  • Maintain configuration and customization of standard and custom objects
  • Create and maintain marketing campaigns and integrations with Marketo
  • Maintain and monitor leads activities
  • Maintain territory, auto response, team and queue assignments
  • Create and manage Pricebooks
  • Support day-to-day Salesforce issues, troubleshooting, and end-user support
  • Provide ongoing user training and create training guides
  • Support business users and monitor SFDC usage for proper system utilization
  • Conduct regular communication, specifically monthly calls, to announce new features and provide updates
  • Propose new features and system improvements as needed
  • Conduct ad-hoc analyses and participate in other projects as needed

 

Required Skills/Education

  • Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university; or 2-3 years relevant business experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and business experience.
  • Minimum 5 years Salesforce Administration experience
  • Current Salesforce administrator and Salesforce advanced administrator certifications
  • Proficient in Sales Cloud, Service Cloud with “Lightning experience”
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Salesforce objects, fields, page layouts, flows, validation rules, permissions, roles, profiles, reports, dashboards, and logical formulas
  • Experience with data analysis and report creation
  • Strong project management skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Solid analytical capabilities – data driven decision making with strong results orientation
  • Must be very fluent in the English language to interact with corporate offices and IS employees.

 

Salary and Benefits:

  • For California, the base hourly range for this position is $76,915 - $100,255. Compensation for the successful candidate will depend on various factors (e.g., qualifications, education, prior experience, location, etc.).
