Position Overview

This position is intended to be in integral part of the Service team. He/ She will have several roles within the Service and Quality Departments. One primary role will be providing field support for distributor auditing of all service facilities in Latin America. The position is required to perform all levels of repairs in the Miami Service Center, assist in Service/ Repair Training, provide support in the development of new Service Centers, and manage repair warranty requests from the Authorized Lain American distributors.

Job Description

Duties and responsibilities

  • Field visits to Latin America to perform auditing of the distributors service department.
  • Support Latin American distributors in responding to technical questions, reviewing warranty requests, and supporting with service analysis.
  • Assisting the service department in performing repairs of Fujifilm equipment (all levels)
  • Assisting the Service Trainer during different service and repair training
  • Support the other departments (Product, Marketing, Sales) in meetings, training, planning, etc.
  • Provide support to Fujifilm Authorized Distributors with technical questions, warranty requests, and assistance with online service resources.
  • Assisting the Distributor’s Service Department with developing new Service Repair Centers

Qualifications

 

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge skill, and/or ability required.   • Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Electronic, Electrical, Mechanical, or Bio-Medical).
  • At least 10 years’ experience working in Fujifilm Service with abilities to perform repairs and knowledge of field service activities.
  • Must be bi-lingual (read, write, and speak) in Spanish and English (and Portuguese is a plus).
  • Operate a computer effectively and efficiently, including MS Word, MS Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Proficient in use of “Microsoft Outlook” and other email applications.
  • Able to professionally communicate with internal and external customers/ business partners.
  • Effectively manage time and regional budget requirements
  • Must be able to multi-task and work on several projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to write reports and relay information accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Ability to prioritize customer requirements.
  • Ability to speak in front of small groups of people.
  • Ability to speak professionally and relay technical information.
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English (and preferably Portugues also).

Physical requirements

 

The position requires the ability to perform the following physical demands and/or have the listed capabilities:

  • The ability to sit up 75-100% of applicable work time.
  • The ability to use your hands and fingers to feel and manipulate items, including keyboards, up to 100% of applicable work time.
  • The ability to stand, talk, and hear for 75% of applicable work time.
  • The ability to lift and carry up to ten pounds up to 20% of applicable work time.
  • Close Vision: The ability to see clearly at twenty inches or less.

Travel

  • Position requires up to ability to travel up to 35% of the time.
