Position Overview

The purpose of this role is to manage and execute the installation, deployment, and ongoing support of Fujifilm Endoscopy’s flexible GI and pulmonary capital equipment, accessories, and peripherals under the sole-source agreement with Kaiser Permanente (KP). This position serves as the primary field-facing liaison between Fujifilm and KP site-level stakeholders, overseeing site walk-throughs, scope planning, quoting, installation logistics, and post-install support.

 

This role requires a strong understanding of Fujifilm’s endoscopy products and technology, catalog offerings, KP’s clinical workflow, and stakeholder alignment across physicians, nurses, and central sterile teams.

 

The Program Manager collaborates cross-functionally with Sales management, Director of Corporate Accounts, local Account Executives, Clinical Specialists, Marketing, and Service, as well as internal operations teams to support analytics, rebate tracking, and AMP-based asset management.

 

This position reports directly to National Corporate Account Director.

Job Description

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Serve as the lead field contact for KP capital installations, managing the execution of all site-level activities.
  • Conduct site walk-throughs to evaluate facility readiness and define endoscope and endoscopy tower configuration (product mix and quantity).
  • Coordinate clinical alignment with physicians, nurses, clinical engineering, and sterile processing department staff to ensure installation success.
  • Manage quote development for KP projects in partnership with corporate accounts and sales team.
  • Oversee post-installation issue resolution and ensure a smooth transition of the site to the National Corporate Account Director, Account Executive and Clinical Specialist, and for ongoing customer support and relationship management.
  • Leverage Fujifilm’s AMP (Asset Management Portal) to track and analyze real-time equipment performance data, including uptime, downtime, loaner fulfillment rates, and other key service metrics across KP sites.
  • Serve as the ongoing operational point of contact for KP account stakeholders, supporting post-install visibility and relationship continuity from an execution and performance standpoint.
  • Support and aid in the presentation of quarterly business reviews, providing data-driven insights on capital sales trends, rebate utilization, service levels, and asset deployment.
  • Identify performance gaps or risk areas using AMP data and proactively coordinate resolution with internal teams (Service, Sales, Clinical Specialists, and Operations).
  • Contribute to long-term strategic account planning by providing trend analysis, equipment lifecycle insights, and recommendations that support customer satisfaction and contract success.
  • Collaborate with Marketing and other Fujifilm Sales managers supporting KP facilities to ensure aligned execution across the organization.
  • Maintain all relevant install documentation, status reporting, and risk escalations.
  • Provide regular updates to leadership and internal stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare administration, engineering, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in capital equipment project coordination, installation planning, or clinical program execution in the healthcare or med-tech industry.
  • Experience with flexible GI/pulmonary endoscopy systems and hospital/clinical workflows highly preferred.
  • Proven track record managing cross-functional field-based initiatives.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Outlook.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, to articulate complex technical information clearly and concisely, present information to various groups of people, write reports and communicate associated information, and ensure effective collaboration with internal and external stakeholders across all levels of the organization.
  • Capable of identifying and prioritizing customer needs and translating those needs into actionable solutions.
  • Skilled in coordinating complex projects and managing multiple priorities.
  • Familiarity with CRM/project tracking systems; experience with asset management tools (e.g., AMP) is a plus.
  • Strong analytical capabilities to support rebate tracking, utilization reporting, and field performance metrics.

Physical requirements:

 

The position requires the ability to perform the following physical demands and/or have the listed capabilities:

  • Ability to use hands and fingers to operate computers and mobile devices.
  • Ability to stand, talk, hear, and travel for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 25–50 lbs.
  • Close vision required for reviewing documents and reports.

Travel:

  • Travel requirements: Up to 80%, primarily across Kaiser Permanente facilities and internal corporate events or meetings.
