Position Overview

We are hiring a Material Handler II. Material Handler II will help be responsible for handling of unrestricted materials and order picking for manufacturing.

 

Shift: 1st shift 7:00AM - 3:30PM

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Comply with all safety and health procedures.
  • Complete all training assignments as mandated by training schedule.
  • Participate in daily team huddles.
  • Safely operate forklift equipment and follow company certification requirements.
  • Pick process orders and process manufacturing returns into stock locations.
  • Stock unrestricted materials from Quality.
  • Perform cycle counts as required.
  • Perform receiving functions as assigned.
  • Perform and support the material transfer request process as assigned.
  • Participate in department/ business initiatives for continuous improvement.
  • Maintain warehouse housekeeping and cGMP standards.
  • Perform material movements both systematically and physically.
  • Participate in annual physical inventory event as necessary.
  • Other duties as assigned.

 

Required Skills/Education

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • 3-4 years’ operating a stand-up forklift.
  • 3-4 years of inventory control/ cycle count experience.
  • Experience in ISO and FDA regulated businesses, and cGMP environment a plus.
  • Ability to perform arithmetic (e.g., add, subtract, divide and multiply) routinely.
  • Knowledge of the metric system.
  • Operate sit-down and stand-up forklift.
  • Knowledge of cycle count process.
  • Knowledge of ERP systems and RF scan guns.
  • Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
  • Ability to speak, read, and write English.
  • Good oral and written communication skills.

Salary and Benefits:

  • For California, the base hourly range for this position is $19.65 - $25.51. Compensation for the successful candidate will depend on various factors (e.g., qualifications, education, prior experience, location, etc.).
