We are hiring a Master Data Group Supervisor. The Master Data Group Supervisor will ensure that recipes, processes, and procedures are reviewed and processed assuring quality of products and compliance in accordance with GMP and ISO13485.  They will also monitor technical elements of manufacturing documents.

Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of Tech Specialists in completing requirements for MSS, GMP, and other Commercial requests that require data set up and assessments.
  • Coordinates system inputs for processing routers and formulations. Assigns part numbers for raw materials and finished goods, and creates Bill of Materials (BOM).
  • Initiates, updates, edits, and approves Document Change Requests.
  • Create and maintain departmental KPI including data output, workload analysis, and any reportable data trend that tie to business requirements.
  • Participate in management meetings and provide data driven input to process improvement ideas and work status update to relevant work or projects.
  • Monitor Tech Specialists’ performance in establishing, maintaining, and monitoring of master data within ERP system related to raw materials, WIP, and finished goods in the system.
  • Reviews formulation history records, and finish product specifications for trends, and initiates appropriate process modifications.
  • Ability to communicate across cross-functional teams among various business functions.
  • Acts as the primary contact for Sales and Marketing on new custom formulations.
  • Supports new product development and transfer between R&D and manufacturing.
  • Maintain and revise department SOPs and DTIs where applicable.
  • Participate in process improvement and system projects based on supply chain team priorities.
  • Take a hands-on approach in performing all TS related work as a contributor for the work required plus to be a supporting supervisor to the other team members.
  • Support and generate business data reports for planning, spending, and analytical data that are related to raw materials and finished goods.
  • Any other tasks assigned by the line manager.

 

Required Skills/Education:

  • Prefer B.S. or B.A. in areas of Math, Chemistry, Business, or Engineering.
  • 2-3 years of experience with degree.
  • Preferred knowledge of GMPs, USP, and ISO 9001/EN13485.
  • Preferred knowledge of ERP system.
  • SAP experience/knowledge required
  • Excellent command in use of computer and technology.
  • Preferred knowledge of liquid media formulation, aseptic dispensing, and clean room practices.
  • Writing/Revising Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Excellent Excel and Power Point software skills.
  • Ensure attention to details is maintained at all times.
  • Proficiency to process email or verbal requests and carry out necessary tasks in ERP.
  • Proficiency to generate data driven reports that shows analytical results based on requirements.
  • Ability to speak and read English.
  • Good oral and written communication skills.

Salary and Benefits:

  • For California, the base salary range for this position is $82,353 to $107,363 annually. Compensation for the successful candidate will depend on various factors (e.g., qualifications, education, prior experience, location, etc.).
