Position Overview

The Project Coordinator plays a crucial role in supporting HCUS initiatives by ensuring project parts and material groups are aligned and forecasted correctly.  This position requires strong coordination skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will understand project management principles.  This position will report to the Manager of Project Management.  The next career level for a Project Coordinator will be Associate Project Manager if requirements are met.

Job Description

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Project Support & Organization: Assist project managers in planning, tracking, and executing HCUS projects, ensuring deliverables align with organizational goals.
  • Knowledge & Application: Uses professional concepts. Applies knowledge and basic problem solving techniques to define and resolved problems. Determines course of action based on guidelines and judgement.
  • Complexity & Problem Solving: Works on problems of moderate scope which are often varied and routine where analysis of situations or data requires a review of a variety of factors. Exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action. Applies learned techniques and contributes to analysis and investigation to solve problems. Normally receives little instruction on day-to-day work, general instructions on new assignments.
  • Stakeholder Coordination: Communicate with cross-functional internal teams to align revenue forecasts, planned start dates and estimated arrival dates. Develops stable working relationships internally.
  • Data & Documentation Management: Maintain accurate project documentation, reports, and data relevant to timelines, risks, and budgeting.
  • Process Improvement: Recommend optimizations in workflow and project methodologies to improve efficiency and outcomes.
  • Quality & Regulatory: Adheres to the Company's quality and regulatory compliance requirements, without exception, and ensures that all job duties inherent in the position description are performed in accordance with established policies and procedures.
  • Comply with all applicable U.S. Food and Drug Administration (U.S. FDA) medical device regulatory requirements, applicable ISO 13485 standard requirements and all other applicable laws, regulations, and standards.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree or Associate Degree with at least 3 years' work experience
  • Experience: Prior healthcare industry experience preferred
  • Technical Skills: proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication abilities to interact effectively with diverse teams.
  • Organizational & Analytical Skills: Ability to manage multiple priorities, analyze data, and propose solutions. Ability to work under minimal supervision.

Physical requirements:

 

The position requires the ability to perform the following physical demands and/or have the listed capabilities:

  • The ability to sit up 75-100% of applicable work time.
  • The ability to use your hands and fingers to feel and manipulate items, including keyboards, up to 100% of applicable work time.
  • The ability to stand, talk, and hear for 75% of applicable work time.
  • The ability to lift and carry up to ten pounds up to 20% of applicable work time.
  • Close Vision: The ability to see clearly at twenty inches or less.

Travel:

  • Occasional (up to 10%) travel may be required based on business needs.
