Position Overview

The Project Manager, Solutions Development oversees projects within the Solutions Development team of the Business Innovation Division, focusing on creating and managing strategic business technologies. A key responsibility is managing documentation and technical information within our distinctive customer portal web platform. As a member of the team, you will collaborate with multiple departments, external vendors, and international colleagues, while supporting Fujifilm’s premier color management solution, ColorPath SYNC. This role encompasses areas including pre-press, offset press, digital, and wide format segments of the graphic arts industry.

You will be part of a small, diverse team dedicated to enhancing the user experience and driving ongoing improvements across multiple platforms. Job Description

The Project Manager, Solutions Development oversees projects within the Solutions Development team of the Business Innovation Division, focusing on creating and managing strategic business technologies. Responsibilities

Planning & Development

  • Support the development, enhancement, and maintenance of Fujifilm’s customer portal, Fujifilm Direct, collaborating with other team leaders
  • Support the development, enhancement, and maintenance of Fujifilm’s color management suite, ColorPath SYNC, collaborating with team members and strategic partners
  • Maintain close communication with Solutions Development Managers and International staff to ensure Fujifilm Direct and ColorPath SYNC remain world class solutions

Technical Support

  • Maintain close communication with field technicians and the technical phone support team to ensure accurate resolutions of service issues relating to ColorPath SYNC Solutions
  • Provide phone and remote support for end users of Fujifilm’s ColorPath SYNC Solutions and for Fujifilm field technicians
  • Coordinate activation of ColorPath licenses for installation with customers and service team
  • Review and perform pre-installation assessments and quotations relating to ColorPath SYNC Solutions sales
  • Maintain and update known software issues (bugs) and enhancement/feature requests
  • Perform testing of new product features as they are developed
  • Attend training classes to stay current on both new and existing products
  • Utilize project management software to keep projects on track and on time
  • Produce and maintain technical documentation relating to new developments and SOPs as needed
  • Provide training classes for ColorPath and related products
  • Acquire and maintain G7 Expert status and attend ColorPath SYNC installations to identify potential areas for improvement

Customer Focus

  • Work with Sales and Marketing to provide demonstrations via web conference or in-person to interest customers
  • Attend conferences and trade shows to foster key relationships for Fujifilm
  • Attend industry meetings for best practices to leverage Fujifilm solutions
  • Manage ColorPath SYNC customer data in Salesforce which contains practical license information and share that info to key Fujifilm parties

Required Skills/Education

  • BS Degree in Graphic Arts or related study
  • Minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience (digital print, content management, color management)
  • Comfortable with phone calls, presentations, and public speaking
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Builds and maintains positive working relationships
  • Excellent cross-functional teamwork skills (product management, support, sales, service, and management)
  • Ability to interact effectively with all levels of staff and management
  • Ability to work with a high level of integrity and with minimal supervision
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Proficiency with Microsoft and Apple operating systems
  • Proficiency with Microsoft and Adobe graphic arts applications
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Ability to travel ~40%

Desired Skills

  • Previous experience administrating web platforms
  • Previous experience with color management tools such as ColorPath SYNC
  • Proficiency with Asana or other project management software
  • Proficiency with Salesforce or other CRM software

Salary and Benefits: 

  • $80,000 - $90,000 depending on experience
