Position Overview

The Kaiser Field Clinical Coordinator is the primary field-based point of contact for all Kaiser Permanente clinical and implementation activities within the designated regional coverage area. This senior clinical role leads local site relationships, coordinates the field execution of installs, supports complex implementations, aligns clinical workflows, and drives long term customer success and adoption of Fujifilm ES equipment.

 

The Kaiser Field Clinical Coordinator partners closely with the Kaiser Program Manager and the Director of National Corporate Accounts to ensure that field execution aligns with national program strategy while providing real time visibility into site level performance, training needs, and customer satisfaction.

 

The position also provides field leadership and coordination for Kaiser focused Clinical Specialists in the West Zone. This role coordinates all activities including mentoring, guidance, training support, and alignment with Kaiser expectations.

 

This role reports directly to the Zone Sales Director or Regional Sales Manager.

Job Description

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Serve as the lead field based clinical contact for Kaiser Permanente facilities in the designated coverage area, overseeing all site level implementation, workflow alignment, clinical education, and post install support.
  • Lead local Kaiser relationships across physicians, nurses, endoscopy leadership, sterile processing, and clinical engineering to ensure successful adoption and performance of Fujifilm technologies.
  • Partner closely with the Kaiser Program Manager to support national planning, site readiness, install sequencing, and updates related to project progress and timelines.
  • Coordinate with the Director of National Corporate Accounts and local CS team to ensure field execution aligns with national contract priorities.
  • Lead field execution of complex capital installations including site walk throughs, equipment configuration recommendations, coordination of training schedules, and post install follow up.
  • Provide all aspects of clinician education including servicing, case support, advanced troubleshooting, and reinforcement of proper product use.
  • Strengthen long term clinician relationships and monitor ongoing performance, satisfaction, utilization, and reprocessing compliance.
  • Support adoption by identifying workflow barriers, recommending solutions, and coordinating internal resources to address issues.
  • Identify accessory and peripheral opportunities, support quoting accuracy, and ensure appropriate training and field level adoption.
  • Coordinate the activities of Kaiser focused Clinical Specialists including scheduling guidance, field alignment, coaching, and clinical readiness.
  • Lead the pre-demonstration process when required to ensure a successful clinical evaluation of Fujifilm equipment.
  • Partner with Product and Marketing teams on the development and improvement of educational and training resources used by customers and field personnel.
  • Maintain documentation related to install status, customer engagement, improvement opportunities, and field-based performance indicators.
  • Provide weekly and monthly reports to management and maintain customer data required for internal systems.
  • Support VIP customers as directed.
  • Attend local, regional, and national trade shows or meetings when requested.
  • Adhere to all safety policies and procedures.
  • Comply with all applicable U.S. Food and Drug Administration medical device regulatory requirements, ISO 13485 standard requirements, and all other applicable laws, regulations, and standards.
  • Comply with all vendor credentialing requirements needed to access Kaiser facilities.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalency is required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare, science, or related fields preferred.
  • Project management experience preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of clinical experience or field sales support experience in GI or pulmonary endoscopy.
  • Strong proficiency with flexible endoscopy equipment is required.
  • Experience with advanced therapeutic procedures is preferred.
  • Experience with installations, workflow mapping, or clinical program coordination preferred.
  • Experience supporting integrated delivery networks or Kaiser Permanente is a plus.
  • Ability to use Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook efficiently.
  • Strong communication skills to present technical information clearly and interact professionally at all organizational levels.
  • Ability to mentor and support the development of Clinical Specialists.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Emphasis on strong customer service and support skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple field-based projects at the same time.
  • Strong written communication skills including accurate and timely report writing.
  • Ability to prioritize customer needs and support customer success across multiple sites.
  • Ability to present confidently in front of small groups including clinicians and hospital leadership.
  • Ability to understand basic mathematical requirements for quote and discount calculations.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced field environment.

Physical Requirements:

 

The position requires the ability to perform the following physical demands and/or have the listed capabilities:

  • Ability to use hands and fingers to handle and manipulate items including keyboards.
  • Ability to stand, talk, hear, and travel for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift and carry 25 to 50 pounds.
  • Close vision required for reviewing documents and equipment.

Travel:

  • Ability to travel up to 75 percent of the time across Kaiser Permanente facilities.
