Position Summary: This Manufacturing Engineering position is with Fujifilm Dimatix, Inc. located in Lebanon, NH. The Manuracturing Engineer II (MEMS Backend Focus) is a primary support role for the manufacture of precision ink jet printheads, focused on MEMS based products. This position develops, implements and maintains methods, operation sequence and processes in the manufacture or fabrication of parts, components, sub‑assemblies and final assemblies. Evaluates and improves manufacturing processes by designing and conducting assessments; applying knowledge of product design, fabrication, assembly, tooling, and materials; conferring with equipment engineers; soliciting observations from technicians. Performs troubleshooting and physical analysis to understand the root cause of product failure. Makes recommendations for tooling and process requirements of new or existing product lines which can improve yield, throughput and/or reduce cost. Interfaces with design engineering in coordinating the release of new subassemblies. Maintains records and reporting systems for coordination of manufacturing operations.
