Fujifilm Dimatix, Inc. located in West Lebanon, NH has this internship opportunity for the Summer of 2026.  The Electrical Engineer Intern (FIIS) will be an opportunity to work within a diverse engineering discipline. FIIS uses a combination of in-house and manufactured electrical components to create industrial inkjet printers.  The candidate will have exposure to AC-DC switch mode converters, various fluid and temperature sensors, MCU, FPGA, PLC, and PC based control systems.  This position’s base responsibilities will be reviewing PCBA design bills-of-materials, collecting manufacturers data to enter into the FIIS material planning software (SAP).  Depending on abilities, there could be basic schematic design drafting, and engineering change order tasks. The position desires a candidate to have experience with electrical assemblies and material revisions, basic knowledge and comprehension of electrical component datasheets and schematics. Some prior knowledge of part and assembly 3D modeling in CAD (Solidworks experience) is preferable. Some knowledge of PCB schematic design and layout tools is also desirable (Altium Designer). The candidate will use professional concepts and apply company policies and procedures to resolve a variety of issues. Works on problems of moderate scope where analysis of situations or data requires a review of a variety of factors. Exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action.

Position Summary: This opportunity for an internship is at Fujifilm Dimatix, Inc. in Lebanon, NH.  The technology development engineering group is responsible for the development of printheads, jet designs, and printhead technologies for future products.   The engineering activities which support these development projects include printhead design, build, and test; computer simulation; and experimental test and analysis. 

The Technical Development Intern will support the technology development engineers in the design and improvement of inkjet printheads and technologies.  Responsibilities will include generation of 3D models, mechanical drawings, engineering documentation, experimental design, report writing, data collection and analysis, and presenting results.  Additional hands-on opportunities will include clean room build and assembly of new printhead prototypes, directly conducting experiments, and on-site troubleshooting.

The Equipment Maintenance Technician is responsible for the maintenance of wafer fabrication assembly and facilities equipment for production lines. Responsible for troubleshooting and repairing downed equipment and assisting engineering staff in establishing and implementing periodic equipment maintenance. Uses test and diagnostic equipment to perform checkouts. Rebuilds manufacturing equipment. Technician may participate in safety forums, Emergency Response Teams and station improvement teams.

The role of the Customer Service & Marketing Associate based in China is to coordinate and support Fujifilm Dimatix Sales and Marketing activities. The sales administration functions will involve support of China and some Asia based OEM accounts with pricing, orders, shipments, payments, forecasts, etc and liaison with the Dimatix Customer Service department. The marketing functions will include supporting trade shows, advertising, promotions, etc. for China market.  Position will work remote and in Shanghai office.  Travel is required to support customer meetings and tradeshow/conferences.

Position is based in our West Lebanon, NH office location with frequent travel required.  Provides field technical support to key account and strategic customers for both established and new products.  Conducts onsite visits to troubleshoot and resolve issues, build strong customer relationships, and understand specific support requirements. Supports application development activities, assists with customer installations, and manages escalation of field issues to ensure customer satisfaction. Collaborates closely with Sales, Engineering, Production, and Test teams by providing valuable customer feedback to drive continuous improvement in FIIS products and services. Travel requirements average up to 50%.

As a Clean Room/ Production Technician, you will assemble and test industrial drop on demand printheads and peripherals in support of the printing industry.
