The Manufacturing Equipment Engineer will drive continuous improvement of Dry Etch equipment working with process engineers. Work with maintenance team on training effectiveness, spare parts management and design weaknesses. Act as lead for new tool installs and qualification, securing necessary internal and external resources to drive projects to completion. Using expert tool knowledge, selects, installs, modifies, upgrades and maintains equipment most appropriate and cost effective for manufacturing operations. Establishes programs and solutions for increasing up-time and for equipment problems that affect the manufacturing process. Define calibration process for bench top equipment and develop routine maintenance in an Assembly environment.

Evaluates and improves manufacturing processes by designing and conducting assessments; applying knowledge of product design, fabrication, assembly, tooling, and materials; conferring with equipment engineers; soliciting observations from technicians. Performs troubleshooting and physical analysis to understand the root cause of product failure. Makes recommendations for tooling and process requirements of new or existing product lines which can improve yield, throughput and/or reduce cost. Interfaces with design engineering in coordinating the release of new subassemblies. Maintains records and reporting systems for coordination of manufacturing operations.

The Facilities Engineer IV plans facilities changes for plant, office, and production equipment layouts, working toward economy of operation, maximum use of facilities and equipment, and compliance with laws and regulations. Coordinates with architecture/engineering firms in developing design criteria and preparing layout and detail drawings. Prepares bid sheets and contracts for construction and facilities acquisition. Reviews and estimates design costs including equipment, installation, labor, materials, preparation and other related costs. Inspects construction and installation progress for conformance to established drawings, specifications, and schedules. Develops criteria and performance specifications required to meet unique operating requirements and building and safety codes.

The Jetting Technology Center is responsible for the development of printhead technologies and operating techniques with the goal of implementation into future printhead products. These technology development activities include jet design, jetting operability, image quality evaluation, and jetting performance evaluation.

The Development Engineer will be responsible for working in the Jetting Technology Center applying advanced mechanical engineering theories, methods and research techniques in the investigation and solution of core technology problems. This position will contribute to the expansion of our inkjet printhead technology through development of new performance evaluation tools and improving our understanding of underlying device physics.  

Strong interest to work in a hands-on laboratory environment, the ability to accurately measure printhead performance, and provide detailed analysis of results. Works closely with fellow JTC team members to define and implement new performance evaluation techniques and with the Product R&D team to provide feedback on potential design implementation.
